Chisholm Trail Rides brings horses, an experienced team, equipment, and Texas hospitality together for private and small-group destination experiences. Guests choose a few hours in the saddle, a hosted day with available activities, or a customized overnight or multi-day arrangement. Each experience takes its character from its destination, with timing and inclusions confirmed individually.
Why we travel
For fifteen years, we’ve wanted to bring people to the equestrian side of Texas: trails that usually take a horse, a truck, a trailer and a guiding team to reach. Now we bring all of that to the trail, so your time goes to the riding. It’s for the adventurer, the traveler and the seeker, and for anyone who simply wants time with horses.

Everything we offer is hosted throughout. Your guide rides with you the whole way, and our team handles the horses, the tack and the details.

The destination shapes the menu
Guided riding, extended riding and horsemanship, fishing, meals and cookouts, horse camping, overnight stays, private gatherings and multi-day trips are all things we do. Not every activity runs at every destination, and we never imply a trail is ours; we bring the horses and the hospitality to it.

We love keeping every experience as analog-free as possible too — more presence over pixels, with thoughtful candid moments captured for you throughout the day and quietly gathered by day’s end, yours complimentary to take home and enjoy long after the day is over.
