We bring our own horses, tack and team to selected trails. Day rides are about an hour to an hour and a half from Dallas.

Our next stop is Celeste, Texas, about an hour from Dallas. We ride an old rail line there on well-groomed trails, with the old rail yard along the way. Private rides and horsemanship days open Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7, and trailhead details arrive with your confirmation. To hear where we’re riding after that, join our list.

We’re a traveling company: we bring the horses, tack and team to selected trails, so every experience meets at that day’s trailhead.

No. First ride or fiftieth, the horse meets you where you are, and your guide rides with you the whole way.

The Private Equestrian Destination Experience is $175 per rider for 2 hours or $225 per rider for 3 hours, and the Signature 2-Hour Ride is $130 per rider. The Private Half Day is $375 per rider, the Sunset Half Day + Overnight Glamping is $590 per rider, and hands-on Three-Quarter and Full Days are $475 and $575 per rider. All-inclusive: every activity and amenity on your day is included, with no extra fees. Sales tax is added at checkout.

Couture and multi-day arrangements are priced when we shape the day with you.

Send us a request with the day you have in mind, call or text 469-652-9849, email support@chisholmtrailrides.com, or ask on the Front Porch. Once your day is set, you can pay by card, PayPal, Venmo or Pay Later.

Signature rides are paid in full when you book. Private experiences can be paid in full, or held with a 50% deposit when the ride is more than two days away; the balance is due 48 hours before your ride.

Out of care for our horses, each rider stays under 230 pounds and within our height-to-weight guideline. If you’re unsure, call or text us and we’ll talk through what fits.

Yes. Riders under 7 ride on a private experience and begin with a Meet the Horse session. With a rider under 7, a trail holds at most two children.

Tennis shoes, sneakers or cowboy boots all work. Plan to be at the trailhead 15 minutes early.

We ride rain or shine, and only extreme heat warnings and lightning stop us. If we see weather coming, we’ll send you a courtesy text, and the choice is yours: ride, or take a courtesy ride credit and reschedule.

More than 48 hours before your ride, you can reschedule from your Manage My Booking link, or ask us to cancel for a full refund. Inside 48 hours, your payment becomes ride credits that keep their full value and never expire.

If you head home early, your unused hours are held for you as a ride credit that never expires. Next time, add the time you need for a full ride.

Our guides work in the hospitality tradition, and gratuity is customarily 15 to 20 percent. You’re welcome to add it when you book, or take care of it with your guide in person.

That’s always your choice. We love keeping every experience as analog-free as possible too — more presence over pixels, with thoughtful candid moments captured for you throughout the day and quietly gathered by day’s end, yours complimentary to take home and enjoy long after the day is over.

Yes. Gift certificates come in a dollar amount or a named experience, and they never expire.

Yes. For three or more riders, send a request and our team will arrange your guides.

Yes. Hands-on days, weekends, weeks and customized multi-day arrangements are shaped with you by request.
