Private ranch rides at Chisholm Trail Rides are shaped in flexible 30-minute ranch blocks, giving guests room to build the kind of horseback experience they want. After booking, guests receive a private ranch menu where they can choose whether they want a fully saddle-focused ride or a richer ranch day blended with other private moments.

Those 30-minute blocks can be combined for total saddle time or shaped with shaded picnic time, pond time, fishing, photos, quiet time with the horses, or hands-on horsemanship. Private horsemanship days may include learning to catch and halter, lead, brush, groom, saddle, unsaddle, cool down the horse, and understand the horse from the ground before or after the ride.

Once an activity is chosen as part of the private ranch day, the standard pieces for that activity are included. We are not looking to nickel-and-dime the day apart — we would rather help guests shape a rich ranch experience that feels complete, cared for, and easy to enjoy.
