Plain terms, written the way we'd say them at the gate. Effective July 2026.

Reservations & payment

A ranch day is reserved when payment is complete — some experiences reserve with payment in full, others with a deposit, as shown at booking. For deposit reservations, the remaining balance is finalized 48 hours before your ride as your ride preparation begins; you'll receive a note confirming it, along with your day's menu. Gratuity may be added at booking if you wish.

Cancellations & the courtesy credit

Plans change — we've run a family ranch long enough to know. Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your ride are rescheduled freely. Cancellations inside 48 hours receive a courtesy ride credit for the full value of the reservation: it never expires, and it's yours to use whenever the timing feels right. Reservations are not refundable inside the 48-hour window; the credit stands in their place.

Weather & the working ranch

This is a working ranch, and Texas weather is part of the land. When heat, storms, or footing call for it, the ranch may reshape or reschedule your day out of care for horses and guests alike — with your courtesy credit protecting the full value of your day. During periods of extreme weather, guests may be asked to review and sign a weather acknowledgment before riding.

Horses & rider matching

Horse welfare guides every decision on this ranch, including booking decisions. The ranch team holds final say on horse, guide, and ride assignments, and every rider is individually matched. Riders must be able to mount, balance, and follow guide instruction; the ranch may adjust or decline a ride where safety — the rider's or the horse's — asks for it.

Guest responsibilities

Guests agree to follow guide instruction on the trail, arrive on time for their reserved day, and complete the ranch's liability waiver before riding. Guests under 18 require a parent or guardian's signature. Alcohol before riding, and behavior that puts horses, guides, or other guests at risk, ends the ride without credit.

Photos & media

Ranch guides capture candid moments during your day, gathered and shared with you as our gift. By riding with us you welcome that lens; if you'd rather not appear in the ranch's own storytelling, just tell us — we'll honor it completely.
